The Racetrack

Description

F20, 3 image HDR, ISO500. The Racetrack is a playa, or dry lakebed located in a remote valley in Death Valley NP, and is best known for it’s strange moving rocks. Although no one has actually seen the rocks move, the long meandering tracks left behind them are proof that they indeed move on the level surface of the playa.
